Gabi Kopp
Born in Lucerne in 1958, Gabi Kopp was co-founder of one of the town's first alternative restaurants, the Widder, back in the eighties.
She began drawing comics in her spare time and soon became one of the first women in Switzerland to work as a professional comic-drawer. Pictures and metal-figures are her thing.
In her own mature style she impresses across the board with her cutting comics.
With cartoons from her "Amuse Guele" series, this year's exhibition spans in a rather humorous way the gastronomy scene.
