Joe G. Pinelli 
Born in Belgium in 1960, Joe G. Pinelli was already drawing for magazines in the eighties. Since 1990 he's published three trilogies and various other comic series.
His dark-erotic type texts are often autobiographically flavoured and reflect in some ways the current social situation. "Avant-garde, ça veut dire quoi?", asked Pinelli in an interview with BD Paradisio: he didn't want to be characterised. Some of his major influences include; Tillieux, Hergé and Muñoz. |
