Fumetto
The 15th Fumetto will be taking place from the 1st to the 9th of April 2006. The international Comix-Festival has established itself over the years as being one of themost ambitious festivals around. Fumetto stands for quality and diversity and takes particular interest in displaying young talent from the current comic scene as well as artists involved with various other neighbouring media. Around 20 main exhibitions will show work from both national and international artists. The festival will also be complemented by a detailed side/ alternative program including animated films, workshops, talk shows, speeches and autograph sessions. The numerous exhibitions will be on display throughout Lucerne’s town centre including the Art Museum, various galleries and historical buildings. The traditional comic-competition has been launched under the endless title “MUSIC”.
Apart from the above-mentioned main exhibitions, Fumetto will also be presenting numerous satellite exhibitions and window displays in various local businesses, restaurants and bars.
