DISCOVER COMICS!
SCAVENGER HUNT FOR STUDENTS (ALL LEVELS) AND YOUTH GROUPS

Where school classes get to experience Fumetto directly and immerse themselves in the world of comics. The event has two stages: 1) a group introduction to the comics medium, and 2) students take their own (age-oriented) scavenger hunt through selected exhibitions. The event is designed for varying school class levels (2nd to 4th, 5th to 7th and 8th to 9th classes). Both small groups or entire classes can participate. Results will be discussed in respective classrooms. Teachers of participating classes will receive a comic ‘instruction’ booklet in advance.

Duration: Introduction ca. 30 min, Scavenger hunt ca. 120 min.
Price: 100.– per class. Introduction, instructional workbook and day passes included. Just instructional workbook: 30.–

SHELTER – A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY!
GUIDED TOUR WITH IPADS (10TH CLASS STUDENTS AND UP)


Sonnenberg civil defense bunker
Mon, April 16 – Fri, April 20, 10am–4pm


For upper level students Fumetto offers a more extensive tour through the Shelter exhibition. The exhibition (featuring Guy Delisle and other renowned artists) presents comic reportages on topics of war, escape, migration and integration.
Classes will first be introduced to the exhibition and can then immerse themselves in the different stories on view. The digital iPad guide provides background information and related questions, providing students a more comprehensive experience of the exhibition.

Duration: Introduction ca. 15 min, Tour ca. 90 min.
Price: 100.– per class. Introduction, instructional workbook and day passes included.

Note: School classes and youth groups (upper levels) can attend podium discussions, lectures and artist talks for free.
There is also an exhibition for children only: Stars for Kids.

Die Deutschschweizer Städte Basel, Luzern und Zürich schreiben zum sechsten Mal Comic-Stipendien aus.

Eingeladen sind Autorinnen und Autoren, die klassische oder experimentelle Formen des Mediums Comic berücksichtigen. Die Vergabe findet im Rahmen von Fumetto Comic-Festival Luzern  statt.

Insgesamt werden ein Haupt- und ein Förderstipendium und ein ausgeschrieben. Vergeben werden total CHF 30'000. Einsendeschluss ist der 15. Februar 2019.
